What we collect

• If you never make an account: the URL you paste, in memory, for the length of the request. We do not write the transcript to a database.
• If you make an account: email address, plan status, and optional saved history of Pro runs you chose to keep.
• Payment cards are handled by our payment processor. We do not see the full card number.
• Basic server logs (IP, user agent, path) for abuse and uptime. These are rotated.

What we do not do

We do not sell transcripts. We do not train public models on your pasted URLs. We do not require a Google login to read a public caption track.

Cookies

A theme preference may sit in localStorage on your device. Session cookies exist only after you sign in. There is no advertising pixel on the marketing pages.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the account we hold, or ask us to delete it, at support@youtubescribe.com. We will answer within 30 days. UK GDPR applies.
